''We had accurate Flamingo missile attacks at 1,400 kilometers. I believe this is indeed a success for our industry,'' the President emphasized.

He noted that Russians are 'hunting' for the production of these missiles, and Ukraine had to wait a long time for the renovation of the production line due to enemy attacks. Zelenskyy stated that the number of Flamingo missiles will grow, adding that it depends on funding and certain components.

''I will not say how many Flamingo missiles were used this time, I only want to say that there were interceptions by Russian air defense, there were non-interceptions, and there were clear hits, but most importantly, all missiles that were launched reached the target,'' the President said.

On the night of February 21, Russians complained that loud explosions were heard in Votkinsk (Udmurtia). Subsequently, footage appeared on social media showing fire and smoke on the territory of the Votkinsk plant.

At that moment, the co-owner of Fire Point company, which produces Flamingo, shared footage of the missile launches, with the caption: ''Without context. Context — later.''

Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the Defense Forces hit the Votkinsk plant, which produces intercontinental ballistic missiles, and other facilities using Flamingo missiles.

The Flamingo missile strike on the Russian plant reportedly destroyed the electroplating and stamping shop. Specifically, a hole measuring approximately 30×24 meters was recorded in its roof.
