The situation in the Donetsk region is extremely difficult. It is now very important to withstand the constant attacks of the Russians, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He said that today, June 21, he heard a report from the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko. There was also a report by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.

The President emphasized that he was proud of all the military who are now bravely repelling Russian assaults.

According to Zelenskyy, the situation in the Kharkiv region has become even more stabilized. This is a merit of Ukrainian defenders.

"Donetsk region is very difficult. Especially the Pokrovsk direction - dozens of Russian attacks every day. It is very important to withstand there, destroy the occupier, and not give Russia any reason to hope that it will succeed in its war against Ukraine," the President emphasized.

Situation at the front

According to the latest reports from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russians regularly try to conduct attacks in eastern Ukraine.

In particular, their offensive attempts are recorded in the Kramatorsk direction. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk sector.
