Zelenskyy on deployment of foreign troops in Ukraine: We understand approximate number

During today’s meeting of the Coalition of the Willing, European leaders agreed on the deployment of their troops in Ukraine. There is already an understanding of the approximate number of soldiers, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy states during a press conference following the Coalition of the Willing meeting in Paris.
"We agreed that there will be a presence (of foreign troops in Ukraine - ed). I am not yet ready to specify the numbers, although, to be honest, we are already coordinating among ourselves and have an understanding of the approximate number of those who have already agreed," Zelenskyy said.
The president added that the presence of foreign troops is planned in different domains — air, sea, and land.
Deployment of foreign troops to Ukraine
Countries in the Coalition of the Willing are actively discussing the possibility of sending their troops to Ukraine after a ceasefire or peace is established, in order to prevent Russia from launching another invasion.
Recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that there are both expected and unexpected countries ready to send their soldiers to Ukraine, though he did not specify which ones.
According to French President Emmanuel Macron, as of today, September 4, 26 countries have already expressed their willingness to send troops to Ukraine or support such a mission.
At the same time, Russia opposes this initiative. However, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte noted that Russia has no right to influence the potential presence of Alliance troops in Ukraine.
