Today, May 2, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy listened to a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, focusing on border defense with Russia.

As noted by the president, Syrskyi reported on the situation in Pokrovsk and other directions in the Donetsk region, as well as in the south and in the Kharkiv region.

"Today, the commander-in-chief also reported comprehensively on the defense of the border with Russia and our communities in several regions. We see risks, and we will eliminate the occupant under any circumstances," added Zelenskyy.

Meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief

Today, May 2, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy once again held the meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

He noted that he had listened to a comprehensive report on fortifications along the border with Russia, as well as in the frontline regions.

At the same time, Syrskyi reported on the rotation of units on the front.

The head of state instructed Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to take all measures to expedite the arrival of military assistance to Ukraine.
