Zelenskyy not included in Trump's planned bilateral meetings at UN

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is currently not among the world leaders with whom US President Donald Trump plans to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly on September 21-22 in New York, as US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz told journalists.
According to the schedule, Trump will arrive in New York on Monday afternoon, September 21. In the evening, he will take part in political events at Trump Tower.
On Tuesday, September 22, the US president will deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly. After that, he will hold a series of bilateral meetings, including with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
Trump will also meet with the heads of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and host a reception for leaders participating in the UN General Assembly.
According to Waltz, Trump will also meet in New York with Venezuela's acting President Delcy Rodríguez.
On the evening of September 22, the US president will return to the White House.
The Ukrainian president is not on the list of bilateral meetings.
Two senior Ukrainian officials told Suspilne that as of September 19, a bilateral meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy had not been confirmed.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he wanted to discuss with US President Donald Trump the possibility of an energy and maritime ceasefire during a potential meeting in New York on September 21-23.
