Zelenskyy mulls tour of Western European capitals, Bloomberg
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to embark on a tour of Western Europe. In particular, he intends to visit the Munich Security Conference, reports Bloomberg.
Unnamed sources of the news agency revealed that Zelenskyy was likely to visit Paris and Berlin as part of this trip.
"The Ukrainian leader is expected to attend the annual conference in Munich, which runs Thursday to Sunday, according to the people (February 15-18)," Bloomberg quotes its interlocutors.
One of the sources noted that during the visits, the president would likely insist on negotiations regarding security guarantees.
Additionally, according to Bloomberg, meetings in London are also being discussed, although Zelenskyy's team is focused on countries that have not yet signed security guarantees.
Rumors about Zelenskyy's trip to Germany
Last week, Tagesspiegel reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would come to Germany for the Munich Security Conference.
The head of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, declined to confirm such rumors. However, he noted that the organizers were making efforts to ensure Zelenskyy's presence.
It is worth noting that Kyiv does not announce the visits of the President of Ukraine for security reasons.
