Zelenskyy meets with Internal Minister as new security decisions being prepared

Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs is preparing new initiatives to enhance safety in local communities and counter criminal activity, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports.
According to the Ukrainian leader, Internal Minister Ihor Klymenko briefed him on the active operations of the National Guard of Ukraine, coordinated with other elements of the Defense Forces, and on the security situation in the frontline and border regions.
"We also discussed the activities of National Guard units in the Donetsk direction, the use of drones, and the protection of our frontline logistics. We are preparing new measures to ensure safety in Ukrainian communities and to counter crime," Zelenskyy stated
In addition, Zelenskyy held a strategy meeting today with Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, during which they outlined priorities for the next six months.
Yesterday, July 14, Zelenskyy proposed that Svyrydenko lead the government as Prime Minister. Current Head Denys Shmyhal is expected to become Minister of Defense.
