Zelenskyy meets Georgian President: We can't give up Georgia to Putin
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Georgian President Salome Zourabishvili. They were both in Paris.
“Ukraine supports and stands in solidarity with the Georgian people, who are now defending a decent future for themselves. It is important to always respect the opinion of the people and prevent Ivanishvili's government from handing over the country to Putin (Russian leader Vladimir Putin - ed.),” the president emphasized.
At the same time, Zelenskyy emphasized that this is a matter of control over the Black Sea region that Russia wants to establish.
“This is a threat to the national security of everyone in the region and in Europe. I assured Mrs. President that we, for our part, will coordinate with partners not only in Europe to respond in a truly systematic way and help the people of Georgia to protect their right to live independently,” the head of Ukraine summarized.
