Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed his intention to travel to the frontline with US Special Envoy Keith Kellogg. After that, the president hopes to have a deeper understanding of the situation and a willingness to discuss the next steps, Zelenskyy said during a conversation with journalists at the Munich Security Conference, answering a question from an RBC-Ukraine correspondent.

"I would start with Kellogg here, and then we'll move on to the plan. As I said, the American side needs more details, more knowledge of what's going on, and to understand the realities. Not under someone's influence, but to see it for themselves. Do everything to find the opportunity, and time and be closer to the front. I told Kellogg that I would go to the front with him if he was ready," Zelenskyy said.

He noted that it was important for him that Kellogg saw the situation at the front in Ukraine himself.

"I want him to have a report from the military, I want him to meet with (Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr - ed.) Syrskyi, maybe with brigade commanders. And then I want him to bring it all to (US President Donald - ed.) Trump. Show him, tell him," the president said.

In his opinion, after that, the parties will probably be closer to understanding how Ukraine sees it.

"At least the steps. And then I will be ready to discuss these steps with Trump," he said.

Earlier, US Special Envoy Keith Kellogg spoke at the Ukrainian Lunch at the Munich Security Conference 2025. In particular, he made a public commitment to engage all parties in 180 days to end the war in Ukraine.
