Zelenskyy invites newly elected Argentinian leader to Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy today, on November 22, had a conversation with the newly elected President of Argentina, Javier Milei, informs the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy congratulated his counterpart on a convincing victory in the elections and thanked him for his unwavering principled position from the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
"I am grateful to you for not trying to balance between good and evil and immediately declaring your support for Ukraine. Ukrainians saw all of this, and we are very grateful to you for it," Zelenskyy said.
The President of Ukraine thanked Argentina for humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
Argentina's participation in the "peace formula"
The presidents discussed possible cooperation between the two states regarding the investigation of Russian war crimes in Ukraine, holding the aggressor accountable, and post-war reconstruction.
Zelenskyy invited Javier Milei to continue Argentina's participation in the implementation of the "peace formula," including sending a representative to the next meeting of national security and political advisers.
The head of state stated that Ukraine is interested in further developing relations with both Argentina and the South American region. He proposed that the President of Argentina join the preparation for the Ukraine-Latin America summit.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also invited Javier Milei to visit Ukraine.

It was recently reported that Argentina elected a right-wing libertarian with radical views, Javier Milei, as its new president. He promises to fix the economy, which has suffered from triple-digit inflation, looming recession, and increasing poverty.
