Zelenskyy holds talks with President of Azerbaijan

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy today had a phone conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, according to Ukraine's leader.
Zelenskyy thanked Aliyev for the significant humanitarian aid that Azerbaijan provides to Ukraine, especially in the energy sector as winter approaches.
"We reaffirmed our commitment to the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity of states," the statement says.
The leaders also discussed regional security, current challenges, and formats of cooperation.
Azerbaijan's assistance to Ukraine
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Baku has provided Ukraine with over a thousand tons of medicines, medical equipment, and humanitarian aid totaling nearly 17 million dollars.
Furthermore, Azerbaijan is one of the leaders in humanitarian aid for the restoration of Ukraine's energy system after Russian rocket attacks.
Among other things, Azerbaijan has provided Ukraine with humanitarian aid, including 45 power transformers and 50 generators.
In August, Azerbaijan announced a new aid package to Ukraine.
