Ukraine and the US will prepare new diplomatic steps to help bring an end to Russia's war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
According to the head of state, he held a phone call with US President Donald Trump's special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
"Peace comes only through strength and cooperation built on trust. We are doing everything on our part to make this happen, and to ensure that America’s position is strong and helps bring peace closer. Peace that everyone, except Russia, has been waiting for over the past four and a half years," Zelenskyy stressed.
According to the president, the main focus of the call was the results of a meeting between the Ukrainian and US teams in Florida.
The head of state also noted that his representatives and Donald Trump's special envoys continue to work without interruption.
"We are also preparing the next steps in diplomacy. We constantly inform our partners about the real situation with Russian strikes, which do not cease for a single minute, and about air defense issues. A lot here depends precisely on America’s position. Ukraine remains ready to work constructively, honestly, and toward a real result," Zelenskyy stressed.
On October 18, the president confirmed that the US had finally resumed intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
Despite this, it emerged that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not receive US intelligence on Russian ballistic missile attacks for three days in a row.
