Zelenskyy held meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff: details
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. They discussed the situation on the front, the "grain corridor," and other matters, according to the President's statement.
The situation on the front
The President heard reports from all directions, including from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the Commander of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskii, and the Commander of the Operational-Strategic Grouping "Tavriia," Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.
The parties discussed offensive and defensive operations, supply, and logistics.
"Grain corridor"
"Reports from the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration, Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, the Commander of the Navy, Oleksiy Neizhpapa, and our intelligence. We understand our responsibility to the world. We involve as many countries in the region as possible to ensure global food stability," the President writes.
Development of the defense industry
The Minister of Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin, delivered a report. A decision has been made to simplify procedures for defense enterprises so that "they deal with weapons and ammunition, not paperwork."
Analysis of high-precision weaponry use
"Now is not the time to reveal details. But we are satisfied with the results," noted Zelenskyy.
"Grain deal"
On July 17, the terrorist country declared the termination of the "grain deal." Ukraine, on its part, lost the opportunity to export agricultural products through the maritime corridor organized under the agreement above.
In particular, the Russian Federation threatened to consider countries whose courts would head to Ukrainian Black Sea ports as involved in the war. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine responded with a similar move.
