Ukraine has struck the Kamensky chemical plant in Russia's Rostov region. The facility is involved in the production of missiles for Russia's defense industry, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Our long-range sanctions have targeted the Rostov region. The Kamensky Combine, a Russian defense industry enterprise involved in missile production, was hit," Zelenskyy said.

The Pantsir-S2 air defense system and the command-and-staff vehicle of the S-400 Triumph system were also hit.

The president estimated the total value of the damaged air defense assets at approximately $70 million.

"I thank the warriors of the Security Service of Ukraine and other units of the Defense Forces for their accuracy! We are justly defending ourselves against Russian aggression and doing everything to reduce Russia’s capability to continue it," the head of state concluded.

Overnight on October 31, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Kamensky chemical plant in Russia's Rostov region using attack drones and Neptune missiles. According to the General Staff, a finished goods warehouse caught fire at the facility, and four production workshops were damaged.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is working to extend its strike range and plans to scale up the units carrying out long-range strikes against targets in Russia.
