Zelenskyy confirms Russian strike on Dobrobut clinic in Kyiv and shows damage

The head of state said emergency services are still working at the site of the strike on the building of the National Academy of Sciences. The president added that, as of now, one person has been reported killed and six injured, including three children.

"This afternoon, the Russians also struck a medical facility in the center of the capital. First responders are now working to put out the fire as quickly as possible," Zelenskyy said.

He stressed that casualties from Russian attacks could have been avoided if pressure on Russia had been total.

"Pressure on everything that finances and produces Russia’s weapons of terror, and on everyone who uses them. The world must understand that terrorists will keep going if they are not stopped here, in Ukraine. And such brutal strikes must not be ignored," the president said.

Zelenskyy stressed the need to respond to Russian attacks with "global resolve and strength."

A Russian drone struck the building of the National Academy of Sciences in central Kyiv today. Zelenskyy reacted to the incident, promising a response to Russia.

In addition, Russian drones struck Kyiv this morning. The attacks damaged facilities in the capital’s Obolonskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, including a gas station and an office building.
