Zelenskyy compares Putin to a killer: 'It's just a job to him'

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports to the BBC film "Zelenskyy. His Story" that Russian leader Vladimir Putin, in fact, has no emotions; he does his job like a killer. At the same time, during a personal meeting, he lied a lot.
In response to the journalist's question about what Zelenskyy thinks of Putin’s psychology and what is in his mind, the Ukrainian leader replied that he had once had a lengthy meeting with him.
"I had a meeting with him. A long meeting. In December 2019, in France. But that’s not the point. He is not a person in the sense of humanity. Not about that. He is like… You know, he just does his job. Without emotions. You know, like a killer. Yes. It’s just a job," said Zelenskyy.
He also emphasized that Putin lied a lot during the conversation.
"For me, my job is a part of my life, I really love Ukraine, I want peace, I want people to remember this period of time and respect me. That’s all. But it’s just a part of my life. And for Putin – it’s war and it is his life," added the President of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy on Putin’s motivation and intentions
Earlier, Zelenskyy stated that Putin plans to continue waging war against Ukraine, he is not looking for ways out of the war.
At the same time, according to him, joint actions of Ukraine and its allies have created "strategic problems" for Russia.
"Due to sanctions, Russia has no good future. But it's sad that it still has the ability to continue waging war, so we must increase pressure together," noted the President.
Zelenskyy also earlier stated that Putin still plans to capture all of Ukraine, as well as Belarus, the Baltic countries, and other neighboring states.
"H he wants all of Ukraine, and he has wanted it not for four years, not since 2014, but for a long time – he is shaped that way, by Russian imperialism. And when he talks about Ukraine and something about the feet of Russian soldiers, he is also talking about Belarus, about the Baltic countries, about Moldova, about the Caucasus, about countries like Kazakhstan, and about all places on earth that Russian murderers can reach," remarked the Head of State.
