Putin puts on a show, but we'll find drones for every occupier's step – Zelenskyy

Yesterday, the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, spoke quite openly about his intentions for the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine will defend itself and is ready to repel the Russian soldiers.
"Yesterday, everyone heard the signals from the Russian leader. Whether it's bravado or madness – one can explain it however they like. But when a murderer says he wants to kill, we take it accordingly and will respond together with our partners. I hope, with all our partners," Zelenskyy said.
He added that yesterday, Putin performed, including for the United States of America, and spoke in an absolutely frank manner.
"Yes, he wants all of Ukraine, and he has wanted it not for four years, not since 2014, but for a long time – he is shaped that way, by Russian imperialism. And when he talks about Ukraine and something about the feet of Russian soldiers, he is also talking about Belarus, about the Baltic countries, about Moldova, about the Caucasus, about countries like Kazakhstan, and about all places on earth that Russian murderers can reach," the head of state remarked.
He said that Putin’s power ends where the capabilities of Russian murderers end.
"Of course, we will find Ukrainian drones for every foot of a Russian occupier. Of course, Ukraine will defend itself. We all clearly understand that the question of Ukraine's independence is a question of the survival of Ukrainians," Zelenskyy emphasized.
The president noted that during Putin’s rule, the Russians have gone further than the Gulag and many other things.
"They burn cities, burn villages to the ground. What remains are ruins and not a single human life. Everyone in the world can see what Putin has deliberately done to Donbas. Donbas has been largely destroyed. And they, sitting in Moscow, claimed they would bring protection to Donbas. They brought death, and that is the only thing they know how to bring. Our communities in the Kharkiv region, in the border areas of the Sumy region, in the Kherson region – the Russians do the same thing everywhere," he concluded.
Putin’s speech
Yesterday, June 20, the Russian leader spoke at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum. Among the loud statements was one that most fully characterizes his policy. He said that "where the foot of a Russian soldier steps – it is all ours."
Putin was asked how far the Russian army might go in the context of the war against Ukraine, as Russian soldiers are going beyond the territory of those Ukrainian regions that Moscow has illegally recognized as its own.
Putin once again repeated his invented nonsense about one people.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, responded to such cynical statements.
During his speech yesterday, Putin stated that he did not seek Ukraine’s capitulation, but he again listed his demands for Kyiv.
