Ukraine is responding in kind to strikes by Russian forces, including those on data centers. Furthermore, Russia will face retribution for the deaths of Ukrainians resulting from the attack, states President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with journalists.
According to him, Ukraine is responding symmetrically to Russian strikes, particularly on data centers, but he did not provide any operational details.
The head of state said that they had been hitting their data centers and continued to do so, adding that they had responded but could not share all the details.
Additionally, the president recalled the strike on Pryluky, where 29 people were killed, including five children. Another 54 people were injured, including seven children.
Zelenskyy also mentioned today’s strike on Kramatorsk, which resulted in dozens of fatalities.
He emphasized that Ukraine would absolutely not target children and never would. However, he added that certain adults would soon receive their response, without providing further details.
Today, October 8, a fire broke out at a Yandex data center in the Ryazan region of Russia as a result of a drone attack.
Subsequently, Russia experienced a major disruption in the operation of many services, websites, and online platforms. In particular, websites of Russian state media failed to load.
