President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Lithuania to participate in the Three Seas Summit and talk with heads of partner states, according to the President's post on Telegram.

President Zelenskyy's visit is marked by the urgency of important meetings and the signing of a new bilateral security agreement, highlighting the immediate need to bolster defense capabilities.

"The main thing now is to do everything to strengthen our defense capabilities, ensure urgent needs for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and consolidate international support so that we can overcome Russian terror," the President said.

He noted that Russian aggression is a threat not only to Ukraine but also to every nation bordering Russia and to all who value international law.

Lithuania's assistance to Ukraine

Lithuania has been one of Ukraine's most active allies since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. It provides military assistance to our defenders and supports Ukraine's membership in the European Union and NATO.

Lithuania approved a long-term assistance package worth 200 million euros to Ukraine in January. This was announced during President Gitanas Nauseda's visit to Kyiv.

Lithuania announced plans in early April to purchase nearly 3,000 FPV drones for the Ukrainian army. Lithuania's budget will allocate 2 million euros for this purpose.

Recently, Lithuania's Minister of National Defense, Laurynas Kasčiūnas, visited Kyiv and met with Zelenskyy.

Additionally, Lithuania will support Ukraine in restoring its energy infrastructure.
