Zelenskyy arrives in Germany
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Germany on an unannounced visit, according to BILD.
Today, December 14, the Ukrainian President arrived in Germany on an undisclosed visit.
Local police reported Zelenskyy's arrival in Frankfurt. Security measures have been heightened across the region, with several roads closed.
Upon arrival, Volodymyr Zelenskyy headed to Wiesbaden, where the American headquarters for military aid to Ukraine is located.
It's worth noting that the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, along with other European leaders, is currently in Brussels at the EU leaders' summit.
Aim of the visit
The press secretary states that the purpose of Zelenskyy's visit to Germany is to visit the military base in Wiesbaden, where assistance to Ukraine from partners is coordinated.

EU leaders' summit
Today, the summit of EU country leaders commenced in Brussels. Several matters concerning Ukraine will be discussed, including the initiation of negotiations for EU accession, providing 50 billion euros in economic support, allocating an additional 20 billion euros for Ukraine's military, and a new package of sanctions against Russia.
Hungary is known to block support for Ukraine, especially concerning EU accession. Negotiations with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban led to the postponement of the summit's start.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy did not attend the EU leaders' summit but addressed the EU in an online format.
