Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the United Arab Emirates. This is a previously planned working trip, he said in the official statement.
"An official visit with First Lady Olena Zelenska to the United Arab Emirates. The priority is for even more of our people to return home from captivity," the President of Ukraine explained.
He noted that he will also raise the issue of investment and economic partnership and the humanitarian program.
Earlier today, Ukraine began a working visit of the Ukrainian government delegation to Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, the President himself also said that he was planning a visit to Saudi Arabia. He explained that he already had "scheduled visits and important dialogues" there.
At the same time, it is worth noting that on the evening of February 15, Politico reported that the team of US President Donald Trump would begin Russian-Ukrainian peace talks in Saudi Arabia.
Bloomberg also reported that Senior US and Russian officials will meet in Saudi Arabia next week.
Moreover, on February 13, President Trump himself said that representatives of the United States, Ukraine, and Russia would allegedly meet in Saudi Arabia next week.
