What we know about Andriy Melnyk
From 2014 to 2022, Melnyk served as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany. He is known for his outspoken statements during his tenure.
Melnyk referred to the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz as a "disgraceful liver sausage" for indirectly refusing to visit Kyiv.
The Ambassador also accused Germany of lacking hospitality, leading to Ukrainian refugees leaving the country.
