President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to hold a special meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief this Friday, November 14.

"On Friday, I will hold a special meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding frontline cities," he says during his visit to Kherson.

In 5 months, 121,500 people have been evacuated from Ukraine's frontline territories, including about 14,000 children and nearly 4,000 people with limited mobility.

Meeting of Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief The

The meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief is a meeting held by the President of Ukraine as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It discusses key issues of national defense, the situation at the front, the supply of weapons, ammunition, and equipment, as well as the actions of the security and defense forces. The meeting is attended by the leadership of the General Staff, commanders of military directions, government officials, heads of intelligence and law enforcement agencies.

The purpose of the meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief is to ensure effective management of the country's defense, make operational decisions to strengthen Ukraine's positions on the front line, coordinate between all law enforcement agencies, and respond quickly to enemy actions. The decisions made at meetings are of strategic importance and directly affect the course of hostilities and the security of the state.

Frontline territories

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new mechanism for working with frontline regions. It provides for the appointment of deputies in each Ministry and the central executive body responsible for policy in frontline territories.

A network of temporary accommodation facilities for displaced persons is currently being developed in Ukraine. In addition, digital tools are being introduced to speed up the process of integrating people into new communities.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said that the government may review the list of frontline territories in order to provide additional benefits to the population.
