Zelenskyy announces new measures to address issues with electricity and mobile communication
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a meeting with a number of government officials to address the issue of power outages and mobile phone problems during it, according to his evening address.
According to Zelenskyy, a meeting was held with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, and Minister of Finance Sergii Marchenko.
"There are already clear details of new decisions for Ukrainians - new programs that will help people during this time of power outages, as well as regarding stabilization of mobile communication. Now the maximum of opportunities is needed to ensure generation creating new decentralized generation, and financial resources will be allocated for this. In the near future, government officials will present all the specifics," said Zelenskyy.
Simplification of solar panel installation in Ukraine
Recently, Shmyhal announced the expansion of the 5-7-9 program to include the construction of generation facilities.
Additionally, Zelenskyy mentioned that a preferential program for the installation of solar panels and batteries will be developed in Ukraine.
In Ukraine, power outages have caused issues with mobile communication. At that time, Zelenskyy instructed Fedorov to resolve this issue.
