Zelenskyy announces new defense packages from partners

Ukraine will receive new defense packages from its partners in the coming weeks, states the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"We are preparing further work with our key partners on specific defense support right now, in these weeks and months. There will be new defense packages," he said.
Zelenskyy added that he was grateful to all of Ukraine's friends in the world who understand that "the battlefield cannot just wait and that saving lives cannot be postponed, and to everyone who is trying to speed up the decisions that are needed - needed right now."
Weapons for Ukraine
In Finland, defense industry enterprises that produce ammunition for Ukraine may shut down for two days due to strikes.
At the same time, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that his country is considering producing more ammunition to help Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba emphasized that Ukraine would need less assistance if Russia did not manage to avoid sanctions.
