Zelenskyy announces modern solutions for Ukrainian soldiers
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is preparing new and modern solutions to reduce bureaucracy and paperwork in the Armed Forces, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"I held a meeting with the Ministry of Defense team. We are preparing new and completely modern solutions for our soldiers that will certainly eliminate a lot of unnecessary bureaucracy and paperwork from the units," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, these solutions will be presented to the Ukrainian public soon.
"They (the solutions - ed.) look really innovative," the President added.
Changes in mobilization
Yesterday the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced changes in mobilization.
These changes will allow military unit commanders to enlist reservists who express a desire to serve in the military without involving the Territorial Recruitment Centers.
According to the military command, these changes aim to:
- Simplify the mechanism for mobilizing citizens for military service.
- Allow military unit commanders to select and enlist personnel who are motivated to defend their homeland.
- Enable reservists to choose from available positions within military units.
- Reduce the risks of citizens being drafted to other military units (not of their choice) through Territorial Recruitment Centers and recruitment points.
