Ukraine has already begun the process of creating its own satellite system, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said while speaking with journalists.
According to the president, the first developments are already in place, and the work has begun.
"We are working on something similar to Starlink," Zelenskyy stressed.
The president did not want to disclose any other details about the new Ukrainian project for now.
Against this backdrop, he once again reminded Ukraine’s allies that it would be fair to give Ukraine the ability to use Starlink satellite internet for strikes against targets in Russia.
"Why is it fair? Because we know that certain states will be sharing relevant technologies with Russia at the end of this year or early next year," Zelenskyy explained.
According to the president, Ukraine is grateful for the working technologies shared by its partners. This is extremely important for Kyiv, as Russia continues to receive support from China.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Zelenskyy had asked Trump for help over Russian Starlink.
It was also reported how exactly Ukraine is trying to block the Russian project.
