President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte held a meeting at the Munich Security Conference. The Ukrainian leader emphasized the need for reliable security guarantees, according to the official Telegram channel of the president.

"We discussed coordination with NATO member states to develop a joint position on ending the war and pressuring Russia toward a just and lasting peace. One of the key conditions for this should be reliable security guarantees for Ukraine," the statement reads.

Zelenskyy also expressed gratitude for the support provided to Ukraine, as well as for the meetings held in Brussels in the Ramstein format and within the Ukraine-NATO Council.

"We expect all decisions made to be implemented as soon as possible," the President concluded.

The Munich Security Conference (MSC) is an international platform for discussing key foreign policy challenges and global security issues. In 2025, it takes place from February 14 to 16.

Earlier at the conference, Zelenskyy stated that the US has never seen or wanted Ukraine in NATO and that this is not just the position of Donald Trump, but rather the general US policy.
