Ukraine prepares new long-range strikes
President Zelenskyy discussed implementing Ukraine's long-range operations against Russia with Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi.
"New tasks regarding our long-range capabilities have also been defined. Glory to Ukraine!" the president said.
Weapons from partners
Zelenskyy also met with the Ukrainian Defense Ministry team and the diplomatic team at the Presidential Office to discuss the schedule for weapons deliveries from partners.
"The agreements are absolutely clear, and every day, at the political level with leaders, we are adding new ones," he said.
This includes:
- Ammunition for F-16s
- Additional funding for the production of various types of drones and missiles
- Joint production projects with European partners.
The president added that he expects each agreement to meet its deadlines.
Previously, Zelenskyy said the Netherlands would help Ukraine improve the effectiveness of its F-16s in shooting down Russian jet-powered Shaheds.
In addition, the head of state said Ukrainian pilots will soon begin training on French Rafale aircraft. France is also preparing a new defense aid package for Ukraine.
