Zelensky announces details of Kellogg's upcoming visit to Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during an online press conference from Abu Dhabi, spoke about the upcoming visit of US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, stating that they plan to visit the front lines and discuss security guarantees.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that on February 20, Keith Kellogg will arrive in Ukraine as the US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia.
The visit will last several days and will include meetings with military officials, diplomats, and representatives of the defense sector.
The President noted that during Kellogg’s stay in Ukraine, he plans to visit the front lines together with the American representative. Zelenskyy emphasized that he expects the US side to gain a deeper understanding of the situation in Ukraine.
"I want him to study all the issues, all the details, to communicate first and foremost with our military and diplomats, to see everything at different levels," Zelenskyy stressed.
Kellogg is also scheduled to meet with Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and possibly with brigade commanders.
Additionally, negotiations are planned at the Ministry of Defense and, potentially, within Ukrainian intelligence agencies. Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of discussing security guarantees for Ukraine with Kellogg.
The President of Ukraine also noted that after Kellogg returns to the US, the prospects for his meeting with US President Donald Trump may become clearer.
At the Ukrainian Lunch event held at the Munich Security Conference 2025, US Special Representative Keith Kellogg stated that he would try to end the war in Ukraine within 180 days.
