Zaporizhzhia casualty toll rises sharply after Russian guided bomb attack

As of the evening of July 19, the number of injured in Zaporizhzhia after the Russian airstrike has increased to 42. Among them are eight children, according to the National Police of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service (DSNS).
"As a result of the Russian airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, the number of injured has increased to 42 people, including 8 children. Unfortunately, 2 people died," rescuers said.
It is also known that DSNS psychologists assisted 41 victims, including 11 children.
The National Police added that a criminal proceeding has been initiated regarding the facts of war crimes under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The law enforcement press service also released a video showing their officers, medics, and rescuers helping the victims and dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack.

Strike on Zaporizhzhia with KABs (guided aerial bombs)
On Sunday evening, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. A five-story residential building was struck, and significant damage was recorded. Two floors of the building are completely destroyed.
Rescuers pulled people out from under the rubble. Two people died, and dozens were injured, many of them in a state of shock.
As a result of the KAB strike, the terminal of a logistics operator was damaged, where a fire broke out. The nine-story building adjacent to the five-story one was also damaged, with windows and balconies affected. Destruction was also recorded in the private residential sector.
