Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv regions hit in Russian night strikes: All details revealed

On the night of Monday, Russia carried out strikes on Ukraine using various types of weapons. The enemy employed attack drones and guided aerial bombs.

Weapons used by the enemy
Since the evening of September 21, the enemy has launched Shahed drones over Ukraine, with Kyiv and Sumy regions suffering the most. This morning, guided aerial bombs (KABs) were used on Zaporizhzhia. The enemy struck with aerial bombs five times.
Kyiv region
As of 02:00 Kyiv time, air defense systems were active in the capital. Strikes hit the Boryspil district, causing fires in private houses and a three-story residential building. One person was injured.
Vyshhorod and Fastiv districts were also under attack, with fires reported there as well. In Obukhiv district, drone debris fell on an unoccupied multi-story building.
Zaporizhzhia
The enemy targeted a civilian infrastructure facility, and vehicles were destroyed and damaged. According to local authorities, the aggressor used five guided aerial bombs (KABs).
Two people have died. The aftermath of the attacks is still being addressed.
As a result of the nighttime strike, 15 multi-story buildings and 10 private houses, as well as non-residential premises, were damaged.
"Specialists from the district administrations are already inspecting the area to document all damages. Utility services have begun boarding up broken windows in residential buildings with OSB panels," reported the head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Sumy region
In one of the districts of the Sumy region, enemy drones struck the area. According to the regional military administration, all emergency services are working on site, and the territory is being inspected.
Acting Mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, reported that one person was injured as a result of the attack. Two strikes hit industrial facilities, and another struck an educational institution. In nearby apartment buildings, windows were shattered and balcony structures were damaged.
