By the end of 2025, the combined value of the world’s most expensive football squads exceeded €1.3 billion, reflecting active transfers, rising player prices, and investors’ growing interest in football, according to Transfermarket.
Real Madrid's financial dominance
The royal club ends the calendar year as the undisputed leader. The combined market value of all Real Madrid players is currently estimated at an impressive €1.38 billion.
English chase and competition for the podium
London’s Arsenal is the closest contender, with its squad valued at €1.29 billion, securing a solid second place.
The third spot is shared by two football giants – Manchester City from England and Paris Saint-Germain from France. The market value of both squads stands at €1.19 billion.
It’s worth noting that seven football clubs have surpassed the €1 billion mark. In addition to the leaders, this elite group includes Chelsea, Barcelona, and Liverpool.
