Several world leaders have already reacted to the shooting incident at the rally of former US President Donald Trump. They condemned the political violence, reports AP.

A spokesperson for British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s office said in a statement: “We are shocked by the scenes at President Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. We condemn all forms of political violence in the strongest terms and we send our best wishes to President Trump and his family at this time.”

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his disgust over the shooting on social media platform X. "It cannot be overstated - political violence is never acceptable. My thoughts are with former President Trump, those at the event, and all Americans," said Trudeau.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called the incident concerning and confronting. "There is no place for violence in the democratic process. I am relieved to hear reports that former President Trump is now safe," Albanese wrote in a message on X.

On July 13, an assassination attempt was made on Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania. After shots were fired, security guards shielded the former president and escorted him off the stage.

It was later reported that Trump sustained a minor gunshot wound. One of the spectators and the assailant were killed.

Trump, according to his press office, is feeling well.

President Joe Biden expressed gratitude to the Secret Service for getting Trump to a safe place. Biden also called for the condemnation of the assassination attempt.

On his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that he was wounded in the upper part of his right ear and lost a significant amount of blood.
