US President’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff suggests that Iran is allegedly ready to accept the terms proposed by the United States, according to Axios correspondent Barak Ravid and Witkoff’s own statement.

"White House envoy Steve Witkoff says the US has 'strong signs' that Iran can be convinced that it has no better alternative but to accept the US terms for ending the war," Ravid wrote.

According to him, Witkoff noted that "They are looking for an off-ramp… We told Iran they should not miscalculate again," referring to the negotiation process and the terms Washington presented to Tehran.

Witkoff himself later spoke to the media and confirmed that he and the US foreign policy team had presented Iran with a list of 15 US demands. This list forms the basis of a peace agreement.

"This has been circulated through the Pakistani government acting as the mediator," Witkoff added.

Another US peace plan

On March 25, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt stated that the US had handed Iran a peace plan consisting of 15 points aimed at ending hostilities in the Middle East.

The main US conditions include Iran abandoning the development of nuclear weapons, halting its missile program, and allowing unimpeded passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran, for its part, criticized the 15-point US plan as "excessive" and presented its own conditions for ending the war.
