Wimbledon 2026 players received record-breaking prize money

How much the champions earned
Italy's Jannik Sinner successfully defended his men's singles title by defeating Germany's Alexander Zverev in the final, while Czech star Linda Noskova claimed her first Grand Slam singles title, beating compatriot Karolina Muchova in the women's final.
Both champions received £3.6 million (approximately $4.8 million) each, £600,000 more than last year's winners. The runners-up took home £1.8 million each.
Prize money by round
This year's Wimbledon prize fund increased by £10 million compared to last season.
The prize money for the singles events was distributed as follows:
- First round: £80,000
- Second round: £126,000
- Third round: £185,000
- Fourth round (Round of 16): £300,000
- Quarterfinals: £480,000
- Semifinals: £900,000
- Runner-up: £1,800,000
- Champion: £3,600,000
Players competing in the qualifying rounds also received prize money ranging from £20,000 to £50,000.
In the doubles competition, the winning teams earned £760,000 per pair, while the mixed doubles champions received £148,000. The wheelchair singles champions took home £82,000 each.
