Will Ukraine make it to final? Bookmakers update odds for Eurovision 2025

With only hours left before the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland, bookmakers have updated their predictions for each country's chances of winning. According to the latest data from the reputable Eurovision World website, the favorites remain steady, while several countries, including Ukraine, have slightly dropped in the rankings.
Sweden remains the frontrunner in the betting odds, represented by the band KAJ with the song "Bara bada bastu."
The country is given a 42% chance of winning, making it the clear favorite.
In second place is Austria, with JJ and the song "Wasted Love," receiving 19% odds. France holds third place, represented by Louane with "Maman," at 6%.

Ukraine, with the song “Bird of Pray” performed by Ziferblat, is currently in 14th place. Their chance of winning is estimated at 1%, ranking below Albania, Czechia, and even Cyprus.
Ziferblat will perform in the first semi-final taking place today, May 13.
Although the current predictions are not particularly optimistic, everything can change following the live performance – audience and jury reactions often differ significantly from bookmakers' expectations.
