Wildberries warehouse hit in Russia's Kotovsk: Photos show aftermath

On the night of August 26, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a Wildberries warehouse in Kotovsk, Tambov region. Local residents were still reporting heavy smoke near the building, according to the ASTRA Telegram channel.
A subscriber shared evening photos of the damaged warehouse in Kotovsk. As of 6 PM Moscow time, thick smoke is still rising from the damaged building.
Earlier today, the city’s mayor urged residents to stay indoors for the next two days because of the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
According to the governor of Tambov region, the fire caused by the Ukrainian strike on the night of August 26 completely destroyed the Wildberries warehouse.

He claimed that Russian air defenses had destroyed 16 Ukrainian drones and that three drones struck the Wildberries warehouse in Kotovsk.
On the night of August 26, Ukrainian drones attacked the Wildberries logistics hub in Kotovsk for the second time. The strike sparked a fire at the facility.
The warehouse was first hit on July 18. Seven employees were killed in the resulting fire, and operations at the facility were temporarily suspended.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that since the beginning of July, Ukrainian strikes have put eight of the 10 largest Wildberries warehouses in Russia out of operation.
