Volodymyr Zelenskyy may visit Israel, but only after a new government is sworn in, Deputy Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine Mila Tzur said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

Asked about possible bilateral visits by Zelenskyy and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, she said that "we would really like to see this."

"But, as you understand, we currently have an acting prime minister. I hope that after the elections, or once the new government is sworn in, we will be able to organize such visits. That would be wonderful," the deputy ambassador said.

In her view, such visits could help strengthen relations between the two countries.

Israel held parliamentary elections a few days ago. The Central Elections Committee is completing the vote count, with 99.9% of ballots processed.

According to projections, Netanyahu’s bloc receives 53 out of 120 seats, while Gadi Eisenkot's opposition bloc gets 48. Neither side has reached the 61 seats needed for a majority.
