The Russian army struck Ukraine’s capital for the second night in a row. Damage to buildings was reported in two districts of Kyiv, and there are casualties.

RBC-Ukraine presents an exclusive report from the scene in Kyiv's Desnianskyi district.

According to rescuers, two districts were affected during the nighttime attack — Desnianskyi and Obolonskyi. Kyiv city authorities report that 29 people were injured, including six children, the youngest being four years old.

Three people were killed.

In Desnianskyi, the most severe damage occurred in the Lisovyi district.

There, debris struck a nine-story residential building at the level of the second floor, causing several apartments to catch fire and flames to spread to balconies from the fourth to seventh floors. The fire has been extinguished, and work to dismantle damaged structures is ongoing.
