Israel will not stop striking targets in Iran until it fully eliminates the nuclear threat.

This was stated by Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, during a Security Council meeting, citing Reuters.

"We will not stop. Not until Iran's nuclear threat is dismantled, not until its war machine is disarmed, not until our people and yours are safe," he said.

Meanwhile, Iran’s permanent representative to the UN, while complaining to the Security Council about Israeli attacks, called for action and declared that Tehran will continue to "defend itself."

"Israel apparently declared that it will continue this strike for as many days as it takes. We are alarmed by credible report that the United States... may be joining this war," the Iranian diplomat complained.

Israel’s operation in Iran

Israel launched Operation Rising Lion on June 13. The targets of the strikes were Iran’s military and nuclear facilities. During the operation, high-ranking officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and scientists involved in the nuclear program were eliminated.

On June 20, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that his country was preparing to intensify strikes against Iran to destabilize the regime.

Meanwhile, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said the IDF’s operation had produced very significant results. According to him, the strikes on facilities delayed Tehran’s ability to develop a nuclear bomb by several years.
