We will inflict losses on Russia: Zelenskyy vows response to Kryvyi Rih strike
Ukraine will inflict losses on Russian occupiers in response to today's shelling of a high-rise building in Kryvyi Rih, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of civilians, according to the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The head of state has reminded that a rescue operation is underway in Kryvyi Rih following the Russian strike. Part of a nine-story building has been destroyed, with floors collapsing and a fire erupting. Many casualties and fatalities have been reported at the scene.
"We will inflict losses on the Russian state in response - quite rightly. They in the Kremlin must get used to the fact that terror does not go unpunished for them. Nothing will cure these sick men of their evil, but they will feel the losses," emphasizes Zelenskyy.
He promises that Russia will continue to suffer - only then can it be safe for its neighbors. The actions of Ukrainian defenders are saving not only our country but other nations as well.
