US President Donald Trump was asked about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's remarks on Russia's overnight strikes. However, he avoided giving a clear answer, according to CBS News.
Journalists asked Trump to comment on the Ukrainian president's assertion that Russia's latest overnight attacks — apparently referring to the ballistic missile strike on Kyiv in the early hours of October 22 — show that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not want peace.
“President Trump was asked about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's assertion that new Russian strikes overnight show Russian President Vladimir Putin does not want peace."
"Well, we'll see how it works out. That's been happening a lot," Trump replied.
Trump also said that SpaceX owner Elon Musk had lifted speed restrictions on military Starlink service in Ukraine.
The US president declined to comment on whether he had personally called Musk.
As RBC-Ukraine previously reported, Trump told a rally in South Carolina that he had asked Google CEO Sundar Pichai to rename the Atlantic Ocean on maps.
The company refused, and Trump said the ocean could remain the Atlantic.
