China is asking "Ukraine to correct its mistake" after one of the largest state-owned companies in China, China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), was included in the list of sponsors of the war, says Wang Wenbin, the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at a press conference.

According to Wenbin, "China always stands on the side of peace and justice" regarding Ukraine.

"We firmly oppose relevant Ukraine agency adding Chinese company to the relevant list. We ask Ukraine to correct its mistake at once and undo the negative effect," Wenbin added.

On December 20, it became known that the Ukrainian National Anti-Corruption Agency decided to include the second-largest international construction state-owned company in China, China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), in the list of international sponsors of the war.

The company continues to operate on the territory of the aggressor country, despite the war against Ukraine. It assists Russia in building bridges, metro systems, and highways.

CRCC provides technological capabilities to Russia, actively supporting its economy and thus financing the war against Ukraine.

Earlier, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention temporarily suspended the war sponsor status of Raiffeisen Bank.
