Von der Leyen to visit Kyiv on 2nd anniversary of full-scale Russian invasion, Politico
Head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen is likely to visit Ukraine on Saturday, February 24th, reports Politico.
As the news agency writes, she wants to support Ukraine on the second anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion. Along with her, the Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo, whose country currently holds the EU presidency, is also expected to visit Kyiv.
According to the media, von der Leyen will emphasize support for Ukraine and discuss the use of frozen Russian assets.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that on February 23, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen arrived in Ukraine. Together with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, she visited the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv.
Ukraine was also visited by the Majority Leader in the US Senate, Democrat Chuck Schumer.
Recently, the press secretary of the President of Ukraine, Serhii Nykyforov, announced that a military-political leadership conference is scheduled for February 25.
In particular, all top speakers from the authorities, military-political leadership, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the Ministry for Strategic Industries, the First Lady Olena Zelenska, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Office of the President will be present.
Moreover, according to Nykyforov, the President will hold his press conference to discuss the results.
