Track record of Usyk and Fury
The Ukrainian champion has fought 22 fights in the pro ring. In all of them, Usyk won, including 14 times by knockout. He won the WBA, WBO, and IBF belts after his first victory over Anthony Joshua in September 2021. In May 2024, the Ukrainian defeated WBC champion Fury and became the absolute world champion. In June, the Ukrainian voluntarily relinquished his IBF belt.
Before meeting Usyk, Fury was also undefeated. The Briton had 36 fights, 34 of which he ended with victories (24 knockouts). But the British fighter drew the first of three fights against American boxer Deontay Wilder. In the fall of 2015, he effectively ended the career of another Ukrainian boxing icon, Volodymyr Klitschko.
