Ukraine's Usyk back on top as respected outlet updates heavyweight rankings

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk has reaffirmed his top status in the heavyweight division. A respected British outlet has unveiled a new ranking of the world’s best heavyweights, with the Ukrainian taking the top spot, while his main rivals have slipped significantly.
Usyk leads as Fury drops
Despite his age and lack of peak form, 39-year-old Oleksandr Usyk continues to confidently top the list of the world’s best active heavyweights. When compiling the top 10, the authors assessed the fighters’ recent performances and current form.
Right behind the Ukrainian in the top three are Daniel Dubois and Agit Kabayel. The biggest surprise, however, came with British fighter Tyson Fury — due to inconsistent performances and lengthy breaks, he dropped all the way to sixth place.
