Thus, Rubio said that the United States "will have contact with the Russians" today.

According to him, the United States hopes to receive a positive response from Russia and "strongly urge Russians to end all hostilities."

"There is no military solution to this conflict," he said.

Rubio also confirmed that at the talks on Tuesday, March 11, in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), they discussed “what a negotiation process would look like” and there were "conversations about territorial concessions".

United States and Ukraine talks in Saudi Arabia

On March 11, the delegations of Ukraine and the United States met in Saudi Arabia. The talks took place in Jeddah and lasted eight hours.

In particular, during the meeting, an agreement was reached on a 30-day ceasefire, as well as on the resumption of US military aid and intelligence sharing.

Currently, the introduction of the ceasefire depends on Russia. Just today, for the first time, the Kremlin reacted to the talks between Ukraine and the United States in Saudi Arabia. In particular, talks between dictator Vladimir Putin and White House President Donald Trump are allegedly not ruled out.
