US Vice President to visit France and Germany next week

US Vice President J.D. Vance will travel to France and Germany next week. He is set to participate in the Munich Security Conference, the Associated Press reports.
According to AP, this will be J.D. Vance's first foreign trip since assuming the position of US Vice President.
In Paris, he will attend the AI Action Summit, focusing on artificial intelligence, which will take place on February 10-11.
From February 14-16, the US Vice President will be present at the Munich Security Conference.
AP notes that this visit comes at a time when the Trump administration is deciding whether to continue US security and economic aid to Ukraine, as well as how to manage the growing partnership between Russia and Iran and contain China.
Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang is expected to attend the summit in Paris. The event will be chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A dinner with senior officials and company leaders is also planned at the Élysée Palace.
Keith Kellogg to attend Munich conference
It has previously been reported that US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, will participate in the Munich Security Conference.
According to Kellogg, he plans to discuss the issue of ending Russia’s war against Ukraine and will hold meetings with US allies to address this matter.
