US-Ukraine reconstruction investment fund to be registered in United States

The American-Ukrainian Investment Fund for Reconstruction will be registered in the United States. Only the first part of the agreement will be ratified by the Verkhovna Rada, reports Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak.
Answering a question from a deputy about whether the jurisdiction of registration of this fund will indeed be in the state of Delaware, USA, Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal stated that the preliminary agreement is that the fund will be registered in the USA, but the account will be in Ukraine and replenishment will be in hryvnia.
Shmyhal also stated that the government is asking the Rada deputies to ratify the agreement signed by the government as soon as possible.
The Prime Minister confirmed that only one agreement on the investment fund requires ratification by the Rada, and the other two, including the agreement on a limited partnership, do not require approval by the deputies
"Yes. Only the first one. The following ones are of an implementation nature and do not require a vote", MP quotes Shmyhal.
At the same time, the Prime Minister did not answer the question of whether the deputies would receive the text of all three parts before voting on ratification.
As Zhelezniak added, the vote in the Rada on the ratification of the agreement between the USA and Ukraine is planned for May 8.

In Washington, ratification of the agreement by the Verkhovna Rada is expected within a week.
Over 50% of all US companies operating on the open market are registered in the state of Delaware. This is due to the attractiveness of the conditions. In particular, companies that do not conduct their business in the state, but only outside it, do not pay income tax in Delaware.
